Thank-you for all kind messages re my parents. It’s all a bit grim but my mother has not forgotten her Covid-learnt skills at the zoom.

Somehow she still logs onto bridge or Russian Literature or book club or play reading. Perhaps it’s the pc or perhaps it’s the cups of ‘tea’ which influence the inability to get mic and video to work. Next time you have a participant struggling to zoom or team spare a thought for the “tea cup”.

Every time I’m there I wash up the tea cups, annoyingly no one else seems to. However I now know that teacup is a sham. It’s got Baileys in it!! No wonder zoom didn’t work.
