Another week of dentistry.

Essentially Mrs Restorative surgeon is undoing all previous root canal work and putting in new ones. I’ve no idea what the whole plan or timeline is. She’s very nice and wants to talk to Mr MaxFax surgeon. She’ll be lucky. He hasn’t seen me since the six week check up. So much for urgent CT to see if he’s placed a pin in a nerve. As the numb face is still numb. Funny that. Mrs Restorative wants to ask him why in all the last minute farting around pre op, she requested 2 mm clearance. Unfortunately she hasn’t got 2mm. You’d think I understood. I do not.

I’ve emailed my weekly email to UCLH wondering if they can advise GP about the blood pressure meds which they have queried. No answer. I also copy in everyone I can think of asking if Dipstick has managed to wake up and get MDT for 3rd corrected MRI from August 2025. No answer. A mysterious hint that another department has in fact carried out MDT in March. Who knew? But inevitably Dipstick doesn’t seem to know or care. Not heard from Jerome. But his secretary tells me that I should realise that in November 2025 msu samples are payable direct by me at nearly twice the old rate. No wonder I’m getting demands for immediate direct payments. How the hell am I meant to know? With any luck they’ll send the bailiffs round. I’ll donate my 1240 male catheters to the debt. You couldn’t make it up.

Secret prototype company have not sent me an expense sheet not said Thankyou not replied to my email. Please remind me to never do this again. Lovely rep is in touch, despite UCLH rules banning communication between patients and Reps. Yes that’s a fact. She is going to at least get my train fare.

Meanwhile we approach the very exciting happy time Daughter 2 wedding. I’m stuffing every home brew antibiotic I’ve got. No chance of bugs buggering up this one. Yes patients have a life.

We don’t have local elections here. Dunno why. Rest of the country seems to be Reform. Uh oh what happens next?
