A friend of mine chatted last week about psychos. She said everyone has psychopathic tendencies. Stand on a balcony – imagine jumping off? Shut your eyes when driving? I stared aghast. Couldn’t imagine any of that. Ah but she said the real psycho actually does the unthinkable. The rest of us stop.
Well today I finally found my inner psycho. It being a Wednesday I set off ( again) for MRI in London. Careful to check every letter, every text, Eric alerts, Eric questionnaires. Hand written questionnaires. Took my implant remote controls. Took my implant data cards. Everything. No room for error.
Some nurse person called me through. Asked me all the same questions. Got me to put a gaping gown on. Ushered me through to some ward. Left me there. In a flurry of activity about 5 important looking doctory types drew back the curtain. They went through the implant information again. Bearing in mind I had both implants at this very same hospital. They clearly couldn’t interpret Eric’s data so went through my scruffy bits of paper again.
We started the shut down process then stopped. Error message.
We tried to ring Dipstick, his CNS, the implant supplier, the rep, anyone in fact. But alas it was hopeless. Despite the fact they all work in the same hospital they cannot contact each other. Despite my attempts to check compatibility and get emails of this, I could not possibly be relied on.
Eventually they gave up. I suggested we try the CT booked for next week. Good idea. Save time. I made it to the trolley and scanner. But alas no further. they decided I couldn’t have that either.
All a total waste of time energy and money. What will happen ? I have no idea.
I have however received the following email.
- managed to speak to Rep at ** and gave the details of the problem
- Rep has emailed the *** technical department, which you were copied in to.
- The *** technical department have replied quickly with a technical answer. I have not copied it here as they said they could not contact you directly.
- Rep has forwarded this response to CNS
- I have emailed Mr Surgeon and CNS with the details from this morning, and also forwarded the reply from ***
- I also spoke with a Consultant Radiologist who is going to look at whether there is any alternative available for you as I gather you could not have the CT scan either
Murderous psychotic thoughts bubbled and bubbled.Would I stab someone? anyone? What could I use? Strangle with a mask? Stab with my yellow pen? Ram a catheter into somone’s nether regions? I managed to hold it off, and left. NB no one was hurt today.

Arghhhh

Kill them. Strangle them. Use their blood to write a graffiti on th walls. Blame Di

Why hold on to it. I’d have killed somebody. Who to kill is the question? Most of the “foot soldiers” are kind, caring people. So, this is where psychopaths come from: they go into a hospital, get nowhere with their treatment, come out of the hospital, head towards a coffee shop to calm down. The waitress says the coffee machine is broken and it’s curtains for her! One of these days you’ll write in your blog: “went to hospital, everyone had correct paperwork, procedure was carried out without complication and I was home in time for tea!” Not holding my breath. Cxxxxx🤣

That’s spooky. Next day I tried to get a coffee at our local station after dropping off my brother. You will not be surprised to hear …the coffee machine was BROKEN.
