So all is calm all is bright…but every time I open my laptop it tells me my battery is running low…a subliminal message ?

I inadvertantly entered a Twitter debate between doctors about the pharmacy delays to discharge which every patient seems to experience. Turns out it is because they use different software to the ward clinicians. So the two systems do not talk to each other. In fact they lock each other out. Holy moly really? No wonder beds are blocked. fffs.

In other news the ever running story of how between them Dipstick and insurers have messed up . Long story short. I had to get the bladder implant done under insurance. That was in 2013. Insurers now refusing to pay for replacement. Unfortunately the letter to them from Dippy was not checked. Got sent out with typos and crap.

So I am trying to argue the case. Insurers tell me I am chronic. So must approach NHS. But of course my NHS hospital appointments have been cancelled or postponed over the last year. Probably by some 12 year old manager person. So crap has it been , that some anonymous NHS lady rang last week. To apologise! for so many alterations to the appointments. Well she was nice. I tried to explain. I tried to keep calm. She did have up her sleeve an appointment with the very lovely specialist nurse who I know well. Thing is the appointment is next week. Not sure when. Probably the 25th!!

In addition, I am not sure if specialist nurse has any powers to get a battery change organised.

My parents are in better shape not least because awesome brother flew over from Toronto to help. We have had some laughs. We have made parents safer and jollier. Installed alarms, and lights and key safe, and home help and light up penguin. As you do. Well they wanted something jolly and we saw it at the local distillery. Where we had escaped for a half hour breather!

Every time I put the radio on Slade reminds me it is Christmas…so I better get something organised.
