Sunday night.. the kitchen is filled with the smell of Pernil de Cordeiro Assado na Cachaca. That is, lamb marinated in Brazilian rum (Amazon purchase…Cachaca). The result of spending too long in the Allergy Clinic. Daughter 2 agrees,  this is NHS at its best. Nurse D told me all about his Christmas in Brazil, what brilliant therapy. Photos, recipes and anecdotes. Thank you NHS for this heady waft of rum as I type.  Talk about holistic.
