What a hot day in UK.
London lung function clinic. Did not go well BARTs IT had melted. The compliant patients in difficult asthma sat staring at the blank screens hoping for rescue !
Meanwhile not only but also both my parents in nursing home. Bletchley. Mum should be in a hospice but they’ve cut the beds from 15 to 10. And they have no doctor cover for August.
It’s an incredibly long story. One day I’ll explain it. Right now it’s harrowing. It’s exhausting and the strange dystopian queue to heaven is depressing. One thing I’ve learnt how to do is fix the funding. A minefield but I’ve somehow blagged my way through.
More later. Back to London tomorrow this time for gentamicin’ clinic. The very nice sounding nurse tried to explain it all. I cannot bear to hit the hot train yet again just to be told how to do gent following the protocol that I co – wrote. But go I must. Comply. Behave. Avoid expulsion. Help!
