Wimbledon is nigh and let’s hope McEnroe of ‘you cannot be serious‘ fame , can be persuaded to reduce his commentary and let us watch in peace.
Dealing with NHS at the moment is just one long argument.
I argued with GP Rottweiller who tried to tell me she knew how to do an msu. She does not.
I argued with my parents ‘ GP who cannot seem to tell me what when and how my Dad needs his meds.
Their District Nurses got a stressy call from me too. Turns out they do not ‘believe’ in catheter passports so no one really knows what when how why. Let alone Dad. As for the palliative care nurses, they turned up unannounced yesterday. Mum sent them away. Said she does not need care!
Meanwhile London hospital have now cancelled Dipstick’s appointment. ( Follow up from January 2023 MRI).
They have also cancelled the Nevro Spinal Implant appointment. That is the annual review of the implant which cost the NHS some £10,000. Might be an idea to follow up?
The American implant SNS team who saw me with a prototype a couple of weeks ago, have not been in touch. Have not said thanks nor sent the kind promised voucher. It does not really matter I would do it all for nothing. .but the principle, the thought ,the follow through of what I take to be important research and development. Just the bloody patient. Does not matter. Ignore the patients, they may just go away. With any luck.
Daughter 1 had her 6 week post surgery appointment cancelled. The operation was March. Just saying. You cannot be bloody serious.
Right moan over. The sun is trying to shine and swimming in the lake has restarted. Hurrah.
Hope everyone out there is ok and hope you too are not battling the nhs..you cannot be serious.

Aaaaaaaaargh!!!!! 🤬🤬
