Happy Christmas from me and team Emkes

I don’t usually add the family shots. My reasoning today is to show you that behind all patients, behind all the dramas, all the NHS land stuff … are truly wonderful support teams.

Grand Prix analogy… the driver gets the attention… the pit stop mechanics the scientists the computer people …the team keeps that driver going. Motivated. Looking to the next race. If the athlete is the driver of the car, then the coaches and family are the team that make that driver perform at the very best of their ability.the team speaking in the driver’s ear – keep going don’t give up youve got this.

Thank-you to everyone who reads this my blog, my stream of consciousness. Thank-you for being part of team Emkes. How I need you.
