Covid? Boris? Brexit? NHS?

Covid status here is LFT negative today. but have been test traced tracked …. account of a short flight. Uh oh. oops.

Boris? No idea. Every time I check BBC news in the vain hope he’s gone, there he is back. Unbelievable party king that he is.

Brexit? Ah. Supply issues with some medication is causing problems. But by amazing stealth I found nice pharmacist has returned after a long much needed non covid break . I explained the gentamicin situation to him. GP will not prescribe. I do have an email private script. He worked out how to get it it at a cost of £11. Wow. It’s worth it

But Brexit or Europe or Boris or something means he needs the actual script not the email. Oh. . That I do not have. Hopefully I can get someone to do one next week or sometime. gosh be good. Be a saving of time and NHS expense to self treat rather than emergency treat in hospital. Fingers crossed.

Then, just my luck a stupid cold has turned into a chest infection and has set off the asthma. I’ve tried to ring GP. The message on the website says ring at 8:00 am. I did that. On repeat dial. 81 calls later the snap crackle and pop of the speaker was a shock. So surprised was I that they had answered I started laughing (and coughing). Nice receptionist laughed too. Bet you thought you’d never get through she giggled. Well yes. She did say most patients don’t laugh they shout! well my luck was in she arranged for their resident paramedic to see me. She was excellent.

Long and short of it I’m back on steroids and antibiotics. Be ok. Better than last time. And it’s not covid ! Yet.

Oh try a game called Wordle it’s online. Takes minutes. it allows you to post your ‘score’ on social media. The analogy with golf is tenuous. But jokes abound for managing to score a ‘birdie’ ‘par’ ‘eagle’ ‘bogey’ and inevitably the 19th hole. It’s totally ridiculously addictive and my English Language skills are poor. However my maths skills find the nerdle numbers game a bigger challenge! Try it if you dare!

Good job the Olympics is on. Now we are curling experts once more. And triple double 260 loopy ski jump sledge runners. Well something like that.
