A short addendum… you cannot could not would not make this up….

Nephrology surgeon just rang for consultation. I did have the text and the letter. I am so glad it was a phone call not video. I had just finished pilates and shower and towel was at least to hand. phew.

He spent half the call trying to find the information regarding test results and updates on the stupid software system called Eric. Which was a handy amount of time for me to throw on some clothes.

he wants me to go to London get an ambulatory blood pressure machine and go back 24 hours later to take it back.. That should send my bp sky high.

He also wants me to have an MRI on account of cysts on kidney.

I have just looked on the Eric system…he has ordered a scan of BOTH kidneys.

MR Kidneys BothComplete as directed

I shall not tell radiology I only have one kidney. that is the whole reason I am under nephrology in the first place. Let’s see if anyone notices!!
