A week on from the horrors of hospital and so much has happened.
The big world breaking news of a vaccine roll out is tremendous. All those hurdles to jump, to get the clinic trials through and final authorisation for use. Massive.

Alchemist meanwhile wrote to tell me that after so much effort, so much rigour and sheer graft, our bid did not get through. Gutted would be putting it mildly.
Vaccine: My parents have been told to ring their hospital for the jab. They have. But it is constantly ‘line in use’. Let alone panicking about where to park how to get there etc. I’ll take them.
As for me:Mrs Consultant Infectious Diseases was in contact and gave me the list of mega antibiotics to take this week. Pewk Ache Horror. . But she said I should not tell Dipstick. He is meant to tell us the plan. Apparently. But not a word from urology. Do they even exist? No follow up. No letters. No information. NOTHING. Thanks to bloody Eric I know I have a urology test next week. But as no one knows what that is for I will not go.
As for my second letter to Mr Hancock alas he is too busy, so no reply!
But, the hospital CEO wrote to me. He said he has no red zones in the hospital and no doctors go onto the ward unless in scrubs. So why was there a big notice at the end of my bed ‘RED ZONE’? Patients should be seen and not heard. Apparently no patient ever gets lost as Eric computer tracks the patient all the way. NO IT DOES NOT>
Complaints office have taken a different tack. ‘So sorry about your stay lets try and get it right.’ Yes I will try Yes I will engage with the process. No I do not want to waste your time but let us try to make it better.
More later.
