Just a quick update. To my horror I realised today that I’ve become too blasé about my medical history.
Pre scan on Monday I was asked to fill in a questionnaire about my history. The space for previous operations was 1cm by 5 cms.
The space for previous injuries fractures etc was just as small.
The very nice radiologist explained this was to give data to the scan. Ie if there was a previous operation or injury the take up of the nuclear isotopes would show differently.
So. I remembered to squish in the box, bladder boari flap. Tick.
I remembered to write: broken foot 2018. Tick.
I forgot… There is no right kidney.. its been removed! My spine is bolted together with nuts and bolts, my bionic bladder is connected to a battery implant as is my spine…. batteries implants screws bolts ooops. Oops. The poor radiologists will be peering at their screens baffled and confused. The report might be muddled!!
