No more parties

img-20180623-wa0019I spent a bit of time in our local hospital yesterday. Not me but our little O very unwell but doing better now.

His mum had in fact organised a party for something like 20 babies plus 80 odd parents relatives and friends..some odder than others. ..! on Saturday…at our house..tipi, pig and beers…it was great.  He became iller as the day wore on.

Admittance to hospital before during or after a party seems to have become a tradition. One we must call a stop to.

there was the curious incident of the Stanley knife in the neck...needed emergency surgery in the middle of the night…just days before the big Scottish wedding…that was my Dad.Another suitcase…

After our anniversary party..my mother found herself lodged behind a ‘boutique ‘ hotel loo with a very broken leg.  That was a long night ending up with her in the operating theatre. Blog 30

Little O better today. Phew. Great staff. Great speed attention and explanation. Poor baby.

just some nhs funnies…

The registrar who, turned up, did not introduce herself,  started firing questions about ….the wrong baby and once I explained that she needed baby in bed 4…she rushed away so fast she got tangled in a bed bell thingy and  dragged a food trolley off too!

The food-for-breast feeding-parent is kind, but child menu and child size portions cannot really be called a meal. No food for baby. Can mush up the pizza but that’s salt added and the ice cream is errr sugar…thought we were supposed to be low salt low sugar healthy babies. Surely yogurt and carrot purée is maybe good maybe cheap maybe easy …or amI old fashioned?
