Yep it is indeed August and the sweltering temperatures have made way for cooler days with a bit of rain. For once we don’t mind as the garden looks very sad!

Here is a short news update. After much to’ing and fro’ing it looks like I will have the SNS leads changed next week on 23rd. So a very short hospital admission and with any luck Dipstick will remember to turn up, added to which the rep might show up too. Her diary clashes are legendary. Meanwhile preadmission tests have gone missing..again…so will have to return to London once more for another try. fff.

Meanwhile…swimming in the lake is much easier now that my kidney is not grumbling about the heat. Phew. Good fun.
