Today I was supposed to have telephone follow up call with the Bingo nurse. This was to update on the bladder implant progress or lack of. As in the leads have migrated which means nerve s2 is shockingly painful if implant is on. . . Keep by your phone half an hour before and half an hour after the appointment time, so warned my letter and text. So I did. 29 minutes AFTER my time slot my phone rang. Hello this is Bingo from London. I have a call booked with you. I’m afraid I’m too busy to speak to you. !

In other news I had another appointment booked with Uncle Montmerency …at his behest….but his secretary has emailed. He isn’t doing that clinic any more. Great. So that’s that cancelled too.

Then because I have another msu resulturgently needed , and really I have nothing better to do than make medical calls or wait in for them all day, I ring for that. The answer message says press 1 for bilbo 2 for baggins and 3 Frodo. I chose 1. Got some inane music and then of course went straight to some crap message ‘ all our lines are busy please leave a message after the tone. ‘ So I did . No response. Oh well. Start again Monday.

Olympics has been good hasn’t it? All of a sudden we are curling experts again, 4 years after our last episode! Sweeping the kitchen floor is so cool again. Clare Balding doing great in Salford (took me a while to realise she was not actually in Korea!)I bet her friend and mine, MJ, is secretly training the team GB ice netball team. She’s been away a lot… maybe she’s out in Korea….
