Just to finish the week’s stories.

My phone has an infection…it delays messages.  So, just when I think I’ve got memory loss and  write another,  it sends ten at once. Apologies to anyone who has been hit by my messages.

But, help is at hand. Phone chat online thingy told me how to sort. Think I’ve done it.

Then, perchance, I had an asthma check . To get repeat prescriptions for asthma it is necessary to book a spurious appointment with the nurse. Can book appointment. Then get script for puffer .then cancel it and that way get your script. Bonkers. But I’d forgotten to cancel this one which I’d booked 3 months ago. So I went. Saw the nurse I’ve known for years. (Taught her kids. )Chatted about her family’s Christmas. My family. My bladder! Explained about swimming in lakes being better than public pools. She laughed loudly when I explained why! Leaky bladder!. Sped through the statutory asthma questionnaire. ‘Can you breathe’ ? Answer: yes

Asked her to print my msu result. Of course she said. We looked at it together. Why on earth the Rottweiler couldn’t have at least read it on the phone I do not know. It did have the ‘sensitivities ‘ on it, after all. So much for her denials. Some resistant pesky bug this one. I’ll have to go to plan B . On Monday.

So, using up the nurse valuable appointment slot. I’ve given her a giggle. Got my msu result. Oh and can have puffers if needed for the next year. Bloody bonkers system.

Meanwhile I’ve tweeted and written to Helen Stokes Lampard. President of all GPs in England. I met her at House of Commons last year. See ‘jampots‘ Asked her then to use reception staff to support GPs. They could really be trained along with all support staff to, well SUPPORT. Or at least give out standard test results, sample pots and well just be NICE!

Let’s see if she replies. She has ‘liked’ my comment. Soooooo let’s see.

Needless to say not heard from Uncle Montmerency about the promised rescheduled appointments. ‘ I will ring you first thing tomorrow ‘ his secretary had said on Wednesday, as I nearly boarded my train. Ah well.

Dipstick has moved to new office. Not answering phone or emails but perhaps I’ve got wrong details . Oh well, I’d not blame them for having me on their ‘ ignore’ list. Jerome helping on that. He is hoping to get paperwork sorted so can send msu.

Acute and asthma gets you through the system fast. Phone bugs can be sorted online. But…Chronic? and bladders ?… not fast . not a clue. what to do. Ignore and maybe it’ll all just go away.
