Great week so far. Upper and lower uti  been burbling away. Got sample sent via GP. The practice is now part of a new merged massive group. Promising and I quote:

So I rang this super duper new service. After no less than 2 hours continuous trying I managed to get through to the reception Rottweiler. No change there then. No result so far. Rottweiler can only tell me the result is back and is:  ‘ As expected’ ….’ I’m not trained to give out results’. A landmark step?

Pleeeassseee just tell me what it says…I gave up when she stuttered over the medical terms…’red blood cells….white cells…elliptical cells…..?? @@@@~~~~###’

No need to worry because I thought I could send a sample privately. I have a consultation with micro-biologist I call Uncle Montmerency….I should have typed HAD. Just as I was about to set off to London. I answer my phone to a caller id ‘unknown’. It was his secretary … my appointment cancelled. He is stuck in France. Cannot make it back. All appointments cancelled. Unable to rearrange at present. Great. Is it a coincidence that the snow in the Alps is spectacularly good for ski-ing at the moment? Or am I cynical? Cannot get a refund on train ticket.

Of course I would normally send such a desperately needed sample via Jerome. But he has moved office and paperwork not yet in place.
