You really couldn’t make it up.
I found Dad lying in a heap, called an ambulance for him. He lay in AandE on a trolley for hours and hours. No beds. Great staff. Poor staff, how the hell they cope in the chaos of ambulances q ueued up outside, no beds inside , photocopying notes. PHOTOCOPYING? That’s nuts… where’s the technology in that?
Puppy got poisoned so he ended up in Vet Hospital. He got a bed within half an hour, vet rang me hourly.
Some poor person will have parked in the AandE drop off and found a freezer bag of dog bones which I’d dropped in my haste to get dog out. I can imagine alarm bells as the sight of what looked like human parts and (dog) piddle pewk and whoopsie scattered round the parking space!
Eventually got everyone home late last night thanks to heroic D and my son in law…just as well as I’ve been throwing up ever since.
My mother’s effing annoying harp sound on her mobile pinged so much I thought one of us would throw it out the window.
Ophelia …more anon …
