First year I am not going back to school this week for A level results. It was the agony the worry. Not for we teachers at all. But for the children. Everything rested on this one day. We did everything we possibly could in the days thereafter to support …then it all starts again 7 days later with GCSEs.

Gove always did say we were lazy and had long holidays…he never did quite understand. Staff in school all week sorting results. Data analysis. Distribution of results. Support of students. Support of parents. Manning the phones. University tutors…..it’s a bit busy…just a bit…
