Somehow we are in April and the sun is shining. Whoooooooooooooop
March was squiffy. Squiffy eyes sent me to special clinic in hospital. Clinic ‘I’ ! for eye AandE at least so.eones got a sense of humour!
Spent somuch time there being scanned and eyed and prodded and.poked.
Then bladder whingi g too. Everytime I stop antibiotics it starts again. So trying the really pewky squiffy stuff for a longer course. Pewk.
Somehow got it together to take my parents to Cornwall. What a journey with me planning stops to undo my back and empty my bladder. Checking their bladders hernias and dodgy ankles too. Driven to distraction by my mother’s phone pinging and ponging every time she got an email, or message or Scrabble play. God I thought the children were the tech addicts. Not the 81 year olds.
Anyhow we made it. My brother and nephew flew into Newquay.Bro in charge of cooking organising and pouring and we had fun. Swam every day ( not the elderly!) brilliant waves . Just a few doddery moments where somehow we got them upright in time. Or was it the.propensity for whisky they seem to have infinite capacity for?
D came down to drive us back. Phew..Pewky squiffy had restarted. So I sat cramped in the back with Dad. Poor D had to end
ure the ping pong sounds from my mother’s various devices let alone a few unsolicited one’s from elsewhere!
But playing cards by the fire with all of us from 17 to 81 was so happy. That’s worth many squiffy pings and po ngs.
I’ll have to spell check this when I’ve got less squiffy eyes!
Nearly Easter break …Have a good one.
