It seems the rule now that any Emkes family event must include at least one medical crisis. There were two at the last event (wedding in Scotland) but just one following the Pavillion Party on Saturday. It only happens to the Emkes family. Was the lady in question overcome by the immediate emotional connection to the Opera Singer or was there something in those delicious chocolate brownies? So pleased to hear that the patient (mother of Crazy Lady) is now recovering from surgery to repair broken ankle. We all wish her a speedy recovery.

As a privileged house guest I’m usually informed of these dramas in a matter of fact manner en route to bathroom for usual 4.30am pee! I think I’m still dreaming but no….

And then a cup of tea of course!
