Tuesday 25th
District Nurses concerned that too much blood and gore being drained. MSU to GP in no time at all. Suggested should ring hospital. That I did. Surgeon then rings. Eek. Have to return for dye filled x ray. Meet radiographer who is brilliant and explained what he had to do. As politely as I could I halted the flow lest things got out of hand. Hang on I said ‘I’ve done this before. Indeed I already have a suprapubic. That is what you need to inject’ With the nicest ever grace he stopped his chat. ‘Whoa let’s start again. I have no information about you. All I have is: blood in urine. Economy of words. Well we all know that one. So I started again. Explained the saga. Change of plan he announced. Need other equipment. Yah Dah we were off. He was great. Funny too.
See S1. Let’s clamp it. OK I say,
Wednesday 26th Catheter keeps blocking, bits and bobs and gore floating about.
Try valiantly to unblock it myself. Give in. Ask for help. Hospital specialist nurse not in, S1 and S2 away, then I remember the district nurses. They come out. They talk to S2 on phone. Between us we get it going again.
Saturday 29th
Help back to square one. Blocking again. Try nurses. No answer. Must be busy. Text S2 on number he gave me Wednesday. Try flush. I try . Get on withit. You can do it. Get a grip. eeek.

I’m in a muddle. My diary has appointments in London with S1 S2 Radiologist and Jerome on Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Friday this week. As its a bank holiday week that’s a full line I think must be a bit opiated ! Actually think it’s sorted now thanks to J. As D shares my calendar online he’s a little confuzzled!! Pah.
