email arrives from secretary to surgeon. surgeon is refusing to operate. he has cancelled the operation over administrative hassles. ie he has thrown his toys out of the pram again.

Have spoken customer relations …have had to use this secret number before!
They are looking into it.

And waiting.surgeon been, very jolly makes it all sound like a verruca op so home in a jiffy. next surgeon been tried to convince me he was rested and more relaxed due to a family holiday in Spain. Pharmacist been, twice (corrected registrars mistakes…) so now presumably an anaesthetist will turn up…
surgeon said did I know he’d cancelled the op? Well yes I said… I’m only the Patient though so why would it matter grrrrrffffr
